1987-025-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did heretofore on the 11th day of August, 1986,

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did
heretofore on the 11th day of August, 1986, authorize
execution of contract for construction of Paris Public
Library Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, it is now appropriate to proceed with the
advertisement of bids for furniture, equipment, landscape,
plants and work and site development required for the
completion of the Paris Public Library Improvement Project;
and,
WHEREAS, the specifications for furniture, equipment,
landscape, plants and work and site development required for
the completion of the Paris Public Library Improvement
Project have been prepared by William M. Lightfoot, A.I.A.,
which specifications are recommended for approval; and,
WHEREAS, such specifications should be approved and
such project should be advertised for bids; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the specifications for furniture, equipment,
landscape, plants and work and site development required for
the completion of the Paris Public Library Improvement
Project are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such proj ect for
furniture, equipment, landscape, plants and work and site
development required for the completion of the Paris Public
Library Improvement Project should be advertised for bids to
be received after due notice and thereafter returned to City
Council for letting.
