1987-024-RES WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris has received request from Mr. Lloyd Cunningham for
RESOLUTION NO. 87-024
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris has
received request from Mr. Lloyd Cunningham for extension of
sewer service to property at 950 N. E. 31st Street, which
could be best served by a pro rata sewer extension beginning
at the Northwest corner of Briarwood and 31st N. E. Street;
thence in a Westerly direction approximately 110 linear feet
to the East right-of-way of 31st N.E. Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared preliminary
plans, specifications, and an estimate of the total cost of
the project and delivered the same to the City Manager; and,
WHEREAS, it would be right and proper to have a public
hearing concerning the same at the regular council meeting
on March 9, 1987, at which time the City Council will
determine whether or not the pro rata project should be had;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That a public hearing be held by and before the City
Council of the City of Paris in regular session convened on
the 9th day of March, 1987 at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the
Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, to hear all matters
relating to the matter of a 6" sewer main pro rata exten-
sion beginning at the Northwest corner of Briarwood and 31st
N. E. Street; thence in a Westerly direction approximately
110 linear feet to the East right-of-way of 31st N.E.
Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That notice of the above
described hearing shall be given by advertisement one time
on the 15th day of February, 1987 in a newspaper published
in the City of Paris and additional written notice shall be
given by depositing in the U. S. Mail on or before the 20th
day of February, 1987, a day which is more than 14 days
before the date of such hearing, to all owners of property
abutting such sewer extension, as the names of such owners
are shown on the certified tax rolls of the City of Paris
and to the addresses so shown.
