1987-039-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is favorably disposed to assist the Postal Service in
RESOLUTION NO. 87-039
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is
favorably disposed to assist the Postal Service in qualify-
ing downtown relocation sites and will consider all
appropriate methods of establishing desirable traffic
patterns; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council will consider the one-waying
of streets and the closing of streets if the evidence shows
the necessity for either or both; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That its cooperation in qualifying a downtown relo-
cation site is pledged.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Mattie Cunningham, City
Clerk, be, and she is hereby directed to furnish a copy of
this Resolution to Stanley C. Patrick, Postmaster, Paris,
Texas.
