1987-081-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has undertaken a project of construction entitled 24th
RESOLUTION NO. 87-081
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has
undertaken a project of construction entitled 24th Street
S.E. Water Main Improvement Project in accordance with plans
and specifications prepared by the Engineering Department of
the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, said easement will serve the additional
purpose of housing a gravity sewer line providing service to
the US Army Reserve facility and will assist Paris Indepen-
dent School District in providing fire protection for the
Paris High School facilities; and,
WHEREAS,
completion of
hereto; and,
the easement descriptions necessary for the
said project are shown on Exhibit A attached
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above
described utility and drainage easements are necessary for
said improvement project and that the same should be
condemned; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed with eminent
domain proceedings to condemn the above described property
to be used for 24th Street S.E. Water Main Improvement
Project.

Texas & Pacific Railroad right-of-way and the EBL of
24th Street, S. E., same being the NW corner of said
