WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-077, award the contract for
the Paris Public Library Improvements to Audley Moore
Company; and,
WHEREAS, William M.
amendment of said contract
and 6, attached hereto as
"E"; and,
Lightfoot, AlA, recommends the
by Change Orders No.2, 3, 4, 5,
Exhibit "A" t liB" J tiC", "D" and
WHEREAS, Change Order No.2 provides for a net increase
in contract price of $864.00 to a total of $709,239.00, for
adding 160' PVC drain line from retaining wall and sewer and
adding french drain at old building connect to sewer line;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 provides for a net increase
in contract price of $2,355.00 to a total of $711,594.00,
for removing approximately 137 LF existing curb and gutter
at west side, replacing with new curb and gutter and adding
10' x 34' 6" thick concrete driveway with 113 rebar 18" on
center at west overhead door; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No.4 provides for a net increase
in contract price of $2,968.00 to a total of $714,562.00,
for adding planter; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No.5 provides for a net increase
in contract price of $1,049.00 to a total of $715,611.00,
for extending retaining wall at south side of paving 12';
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No.6 provides for a net increase
in contract price of $350.00 to a total of $715,961.00, for
adding 36" x 74 LF wall carpet "Jungle Spice" 1110-6864 above
bookcase Room Ill; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the contract for the Paris Public Library
Improvement project is hereby amended by Change Orders No.
2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", "B", "C",
"D" and "E" and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe
Burnett, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the
City of Paris, to execute said Change Orders.
