Notice is hereby given that the Charter Review Committee of the City of Paris shall meet at
5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021. The meeting will be held in the Paris Economic
Development Board Corporation Board Room, 1125 Bonham Street, in Paris, Texas. Due
to the CoVID outbreak, facemasks are encouraged for those in attendance of the meeting.
The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows:
1. Call meeting to order by Commission Chairperson Alix Putnam.
2. Roll call and declaration of a quorum.
3. Receive Citizens' input.
(Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Commission
from responding to any comments)
4. Consider a presentation by the City Attorney concerning the Texas Open Meetings Act.
Consider approval of the minutes of the Commission meeting on September 20, 2021.
(See Appendix A)
6. Consider amendatory language proposed by the Consultant in Articles I, II, III and IV of
the Charter (See Appendix B)
7. Adjournment.
