1987-127-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 87-109, award the
RESOLUTION NO. 87-127
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 87-109, award the contract for
the construction of 24th Street S.E. Water Main Improvement
Project to B. Bray Construction Co., Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, recommends the
amendment of said contract by Change Order No. 1 attached
hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a net increase in
contract price of $2,125.00 to a total of $48,096.00, and an
increase in contract time of fourteen (14) calendar days for
adding 10"xlO"xlO" tapping sleeve and valve and 6"x6"x6"
tapping sleeve and valve and deleting bid item No. 12 - 10"
gate valve and box; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the contract for construction of 24th Street
S. E. Water Main Improvement Proj ect is hereby amended by
Change Order No. 1 attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and the
Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, is hereby
authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Paris, to
execute said Change Order.
