1987-124-RES WHEREAS, the State of Texas did in Article 4477-6a (Rabies Control Act of 1981), establish a minimum

WHEREAS, the State of Texas did in Article 4477-6a
(Rabies Control Act of 1981), establish a minimum statewide
program to control and eradicate rabies in the State of
Texas; and,
WHEREAS, Section 3.02 of

designated in the City of Paris is the Chief, Paris Police
Department; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the office of Chief, Paris Police Department is
hereby designated local health authority for enforcement of
the Rabies Control Act of 1981, being Article 4477-6a
Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, with all the authority,
rights and obligations therein stated.
