1986-013-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore on January 13, 1986, pass Resolution No,
RESOLUTION NO. 86-013
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore on January 13, 1986, pass Resolution No, 86-010,
which had attached thereto Exhibit A, which said exhibit was
incorrect and requires correction; and,
WHEREAS, said resolution should be changed to read as
follows;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has
undertaken a project of construction entitled "City of Paris
Water Treatment Plant Alum Sludge Disposal System" in
accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the
engineering firm of Shimek, Jacobs & Finklea, Consultant
Engineers, 8333 Douglas Avenue, Suite 820, Dallas, Texas
75225; and,
WHEREAS, the system being designed has a requirement
for land to be used for a sludge application site and the
land shown on Exhibit A attached hereto would satisfy that
need; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris finds
that the property described on said Exhibit A is necessary
for said sludge disposal system proj ect and that the same
should be condemned; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City Attorney, T, K. Haynes, be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed to condemn the
above described property to be used for water treatment
plant's sludge disposal system in the form of land appli-
cation.
