1986-003-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-001, award the
RESOLUTION NO. 86-003
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-001, award the contract for
construction of Additions to Water Treatment Plant to
Heritage Constructor's, Inc,; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering, John Buss,
recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order
No, 1 attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for the
adjustment to the contract price by the difference between
the total bid allowances of $780,000,00 and the total actual
bid prices for the approved proposals for items as described
in Section M-l, M-5, M-9 and M-lO of the Contract Specif-
ications and deletion of the Analytical Balance, Top-loading
Balance, Spectrophotometer, and Muffel Furnace; as described
in Section A-19 of the Contract Specifications which results
in a reduction in contract price to $2,997,012,00; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the contract for Additions to the Water Treat-
ment Plant is hereby amended by Change Order No, 1 attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of Paris,
George Fisher. Jr" is hereby authorized and directed on
behalf of the City of Paris to execute said Change Order.
