1986-079-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-002, award the
RESOLUTION NO. 86-079
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-002, award the contract for
the construction of 2 Million Gallon Steel Clearwell and
Repainting Existing Elevated Backwash Tank for the City of
Paris to Advance Tank-Texas, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering, John Buss,
recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order
No. 1 attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a
net increase in contract price of $549.00 to a total of
$368,363.00, for addition of a 24-inch x 12-inch sump, as
described in the Contractor's letter of July 9, 1986, and
the Engineer's letter of July 31, 1986; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the contract for 2 Million Gallon Steel
Clearwell and Repainting Existing Elevated Backwash Tank is
hereby amended by Change Order No, 1 attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe
Burnett, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the
City of Paris, to execute said Change Order.
