SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT TO THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD
DATE: November 8, 2021
BACKGROUND: Policies and Procedures for Boards and Commissions, adopted by City
Council require that appointments be made at the second regular City Council meeting in June.
STATUS OF ISSUE: Appointments were made on June 28, 2021. Recently, Board Member
Don Yarbrough resigned from the Main Street Advisory Board. We have advertised for the
vacant position and received applications from two individuals, Greg Kee and William Walker.
BUDGET: N/A
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint a new board member to serve the unexpired term of Mr.
Yarbrough.
