1986-071-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution No. 85-078 authorize a
RESOLUTION NO.
86-071
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore in Resolution No. 85-078 authorize a professional
service contract with Thomas E. Hunt, III, as Municipal
Judge of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, it would be prudent to amend said contract to
increase the maximum amount to $15,000.00; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Professional Service Contract by and between
the City of Paris and Thomas E. Hunt, III, dated September
9, 1985, be amended as contained in Addendum No.1, in the
form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto, the form of which
is hereby approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized
and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the
Addendum No, 1 to the Professional Service Contract with
Thomas E. Hunt, III.

ADDENDUM NO. 1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF PARIS AND THOMAS E. HUNT, III. DATED SEPTEMBER 9,
1985.
STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF LAMAR
This Addendum to Professional Service Contract by and
between the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and Thomas E. Hunt,
III, dated September 9, 1985, is this 14th day July, 1986,
amended by changing paragraph two (2) to read as follows:
"2, That CITY agrees to pay HUNT as compensation for
his service as Municipal Judge at the rate of $37. SO
per hour with a maximum compensation of $15,000.00 for
the twelve (12) month term ending September 30, 1986.
The hourly rate beginning October 1, 1986, shall be as
budgeted by the City Council of the City of Paris, but
not less than $37.50 per hour."
