WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of
the Building Commission of the City of Paris since Tom Pine
no longer holds the position which qualified him to serve on
said Building Commission, and it is necessary to appoint his
successor, and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe
Burnett, having appointed David Tompkins to serve until his
successor is appointed and has submitted the name of such
person to the City Council of the City of Paris, NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS: That the appointment of David Tompkins as a member
of the Building Commission of the City of Paris, to serve
until his successor is appointed, is by the City Council of
the City of Paris hereby approved and confirmed.
Passed and adopted this 14th day of July, 1986.
