WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Band Commission of the
City of Paris, due to the death of Cecil Mackin, and the
Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, having
appointed James M. Brunette to serve the remainder of the
term which began on July 1, 1985, and ends June 30, 1987,
and has submitted the name of such person to the City
Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS: That the appointment of James M. Brunette to serve
the unexpired term of Cecil Mackin, which ends June 30,
1987, is by the City Council of the City of Paris hereby
approved and confirmed.
