2010 Notice of General ElectionNOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION To the Registered Voters of the City of Paris, Texas: Notice is hereby given that the polting places listed below will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on May 8, 2010, for voting in the general election to elect City Council Members to Districts 1, 2, 3, and 6 on the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas; Only those qualified voters residing within the geographic boundaries of City Voting Districts 1, 2, 3, and 6 may vote for a Council Member in that district. LOCATION OF THE POLLING PLACES Election District Number 1, St. Paul Baptist Church, 444 N.E. 2"d Street, Paris, Texas Election District Number 2, St. Paul Baptist Church, 444 N.E. 2"d Street, Paris, Texas Election District Number 3, Travis Jr. High School, 3270 Graham Street, Paris, Texas Election District Number 6, Paris Jr. College, Applied Technology Building, 2400 Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas The polls shall be open on election day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Early voting for the election shall be held each weekday at the Lamar County Courthouse Annex, 231 Lamar Avenue, Paris, Texas, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. beginning April 26, 2010, and ending May 4, 2010.
