1986-048-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-001, award the
RESOLUTION NO. 86-048
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-001, award the contract for
construction of Additions to Water Treatment Plant to
Heritage Constructor's, Inc,; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering, John Buss,
recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order
No. 3 attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a
net increase in contract price of $26,913.00 to a total of
$3,072,270.00 and an increase in contract time of five (5)
calendar days, for relocation of the 2400 volt electrical
service, as described in the Engineer's letter of April 3,
1986, for furnishing and installation of fiberglass baffle
and diffuser walls as described in the Engineer's letters of
April 30, 1986 and May 22, 1986, and for piping changes at
the Maxey Plant alum sludge connection, as described in the
contractor's letter of May 14, 1986 and the Engineer's
letter of May 28, 1986; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the contract for Addition to the Water Treatment
Plant is hereby amended by Change Order No. 3 attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of Paris,
Billy Joe Burnett, is hereby authorized and directed, on
behalf of the City of Paris, to execute said Change Order.
