1986-047-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did heretofore in Resolution 85-086 authorize contract
RESOLUTION NO. 86-047
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did
heretofore in Resolution 85-086 authorize contract with
William M. Lightfoot, A.I.A" for professional architectural
services for designing the Paris Public Library consisting
of refurbishing of the existing building and making
additions to said building; and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been
prepared by William M. Lightfoot, A. I ,A, with the title
being given thereto of "Paris Public Library Improvements",
which plans and specifications are recommended for approval
by William M. Lightfoot, A.I.A.; and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be
reviewed and approved by the Department of Engineering of
the City of Paris prior to said project being offered for
bid; and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be
approved subject to the review and approval of the Engineer-
ing Department of the City of Paris and such project should
thereafter be advertised for bids; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the plans and specifications

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such Paris Public Library
Improvement project, after review and approval of the
Engineering Department of the City of Paris, should be
advertised for bids to be received after due notice and
thereafter returned to City Council for letting.
