1986-042-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-034, award the
RESOLUTION NO.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-034, award the contract for
construction of a metal building for the Public Works
Maintenance Shop to Hilliard and Sons Contractors, Inc.;
and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering, John Buss,
recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order
No. 1 attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a
net decrease in contract price of $715.00 which results in
the new total contract price of $41,010.00, which Change
Order reduces the roof steel thickness from 24 gauge to 26
gauge and adds one personnel door, said changes being
desirable; NOW, THEREFORE,'
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the contract for Public Works Maintenance Shop
is hereby amended by Change Order No. 1 attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe
Burnett, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the
City of Paris, to execute said Change Order.
