WHEREAS, the Honorable George Fisher, Jr. has just
completed a service of four years on the City Council of the
City of Paris and has just finished serving as Mayor of the
City of Paris for a period of one year; and,
WHEREAS, during the time Mayor Fisher served as such
Councilman and such Mayor, he gave of his services for the
best interests of the City of Paris during a time of great
accomplishment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the outstanding
representation Mayor Fisher provided for the City of Paris
and the recognition he was instrumental in gaining for the
City of Paris as a progressive City; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is aware
of its inaptness in expressing in words the keen respect and
admiration of all of the members of the City Council for
George Fisher, Jr.; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That we here and now express to George Fisher, Jr.
our full and complete appreciation for his years of service
on the City Council and for his one year of service as Mayor
of the City of Paris, and we do here and now extend to him
our best wishes for his future welfare and for his continued
interest in the future of the City of Paris.
