1986-031-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-001, award the RESOLUTION NO. 86-031 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-001, award the contract for construction of Additions to Water Treatment Plant to Heritage Constructor's, Inc.; and, WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering, John Buss, reconnnends the amendment of said contract by Change Order No, 2 attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a net increase in contract price of $48,345,00 to a total of $3,045,357.00 and an increase in contract time of ten (0) calendar days, for furnishing and installing the Alum Sludge Pumping System, junction box, sluice gate and piping; and for deleting the l8-inch RCP sludge line and three manholes: as described in the Engineer's letter of March 7, 1986, and in the contractor's letter of March 25, 1986, said changes being necessary and desirable for use in conjunction with the Water Treatment Plant Alum Sludge Disposal System; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the contract for Addition to the Water Treatment Plant is hereby amended by Change Order No. 2 attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, Jr., is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Paris, to execute said Change Order.
