1986-130-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution No. 85-003 authorize a lease
RESOLUTION NO. 86-130
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore in Resolution No. 85-003 authorize a lease
agreement with Roger Sadler, d/b/a Saber Aviation to provide
the services of a fixed base operator at Cox Field, Paris,
Texas; and,
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City Council of the City of Paris that the insurance market
for Fixed Base Operators for limits beyond $1,000,000.00 is
limited or non-existent and therefore the insurance
requirement for Saber Aviation's lease contract with the
City of Paris should be reduced to limits of $1,000,000.00;
and,
WHEREAS, it is right and proper that said Lease
Agreement be amended in the form of Addendum Number One
attached hereto as Exhibit No.1; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the amendment to Cox Field Fixed Base Operator
Lease dated January 14, 1985, in the form of Addendum Number
One attached hereto as Exhibit No. 1 be, and the same is
hereby approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Billy Joe Burnett, Mayor
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris Addendum
Number One to Cox Field Fixed Base Operator Lease with Roger
Sadler, d/b/a Saber Aviation dated January 14, 1985, in the
form of Addendum Number One attached hereto as Exhibit No.
1.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS That this Addendum to
Cox Field Fixed Base Operator Lease, made this 8th day of
December, 1986, by and between Roger Sadler, djbj a Saber
Aviation, and the CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, acting by and
through its Mayor, Billy Joe Burnett, duly authorized,
WITNESSETH:
It is hereby mutually agreed by and between Roger
Sadler, djbj a Saber Aviation and CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, that paragraph C of Article VII, Insurance,
Indemnification and Performance Security, be changed to read
as follows:
"
C. Public Liability Insurance. Lessee shall
maintain in force throughout the terms of this lease
and any extension thereof public liability insurance
for personal injury or death and property damage in a
minimum sum of One l1illion and No/lOO Dollars
($1,000,000.00) arising out of anyone accident or
other cause and furnish lessor a certificate thereof."
