1986-116-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-001, award the
RESOLUTION NO. 86-116
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 86-001, award the contract for
construction of Additions to Water Treatment Plant to
Heritage Constructor's, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering, John Buss,
recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order
No. 6 attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a
net increase in contract price of $12,544.00 to a total of
$3,089,799.00 with no increase in contract time, for changes
in the 48-inch pump suction piping required by elevation
conflict with existing buried piping, as described in the
contractor's letter of May 30, 1986; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the contract for Additions to the Water Treat-
ment Plant is hereby amended by Change Order No. 6 attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of Paris,
Billy Joe Burnett, is hereby authorized and directed, on
behalf of the City of Paris, to execute said Change Order.

RESOLUTION NO. 86-115
WHEREAS, the Texas Aeronautics Commission is
administering assistance for the purpose of routing,
cleaning and sealing 260,000 linear feet of joints and paint
markings on the two secondary runways, apron and taxiways at
City of Paris, Cox Field Airport; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing must be held g~v~ng all
interested persons an opportunity to be heard for or against
request for state funds for said improvements; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriate time for said public hearing is
found to be December 4, 1986; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That a public hearing is called for the 4th day of
December, 1986 at 5:15 o'clock P.M., in the Council Room,
City Hall, 135 First S. E. Street, Paris, Texas, for the
purpose of hearing written and oral comment from the citi-
zens of the City of Paris concerning request for state funds
for said improvements; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, That the City Clerk of the City of Paris, publish
notice of said public hearing setting forth the time and
place of said public hearing.
