1986-111-RES WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2606 passed on the 11th day of January, 1982, codified as Chapter 9 of the
RESOLUTION NO. 86-lll
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2606 passed on the 11th day of
January, 1982, codified as Chapter 9 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paris entitled "Civil Defense and
Disaster Relief" provides among other things that the City
Manager of the City of Paris function as the Emergency
Management Director with authority to appoint an Emergency
Management Coordinator; and,
WHEREAS, Dick Boots has been appointed the Emergency
Management Coordinator for the City of Paris and serves at
the pleasure of the director; and,
WHEREAS, the Emergency Management Coordinator has
prepared under the supervision of the Emergency Management
Director the Emergency Management Plan for the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, dated August 15, 1986; and,
WHEREAS, it would be appropriate for the City Council
of the City of Paris to adopt such plan; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Emergency Management Plan dated August 15,
1986, be, and the same is hereby adopted; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of the Emergency
Management Plan be maintained in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Paris where the same may be viewed by
any interested person.
