1986-110-RES WHEREAS, the ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, have not been codified since 1970; and,
RESOLUTION NO. 86-110
WHEREAS, the ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, have not been codified since 1970; and,
WHEREAS, there have been many changes in the laws of
the State of Texas that affect ordinances of the City of
Paris and many ordinances have been passed by the governing
body of the City of Paris since that date; and,
WHEREAS, the Municipal Code Corporation of Tallahassee,
Florida, has made a proposal for the codification of the
ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, which is
acceptable to the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe
Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute on
behalf of the City of Paris the contractural agreement with
Municipal Code Corporation, providing for codification of
the ordinances of the City of Paris, said agreement being in
the form of Exhibit A attached hereto.
