1985-001-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, did in Resolution No. 1674, approve the
RESOLUTION NO. 85-001
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, did in Resolution No. 1674, approve the application
for federal grant under the Federal Water Pollution Control
Act Amendments of 1972, Public Law No. 92-500 and the rules
and regulations pursuant thereto 1 and
WHEREAS, said Resolution authorized the City Manager of
the City of Paris, Kerry R. Sweatt, and his successors in
office, to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, all
grants, applications, communications, documents, assurances,
notices and other project related items in making applica-
tion for grant under Public Law No. 92-500 and the rules and
regulations pursuant thereto, and to sign the acceptance of
the grant, when made, and any other necessary documents
required to complete the project on behalf of the City of
ParisI and
WHEREAS, the current City Manager of the City of Paris
is David H. Doty, who is under the authority granted in
Resolution No. 1674, the person authorized to do the above
enumerated thingsl NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That David H. Doty, City Manager of the City of
Paris, is as a successor to Kerry R. Sweatt, authorized as
provided in said Resolution No. 1674 heretofore passed and
adopted on the 24th day of March, 1975, a copy of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof.

RESOLUTION NO. 1674
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, deems it necessary and proper LO apply for a federal grant
under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972,
Public Law 92 -500, and the rules and regulations pursuant thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 1.lIE CITY OF
PARIS, That Kerry R. Sweatt, City Manager of the City of Paris,or
his successor, be authorized to execute in behalf of the City of Paris
all grant applications, communications, documents, assurances, no-
tices and other project related items in making application for a
grant under Public Law 92-500 and the rules and regulations pur-
suant thereto, and to sign the acceptance of the grant, when made,
and any other necessary documents required to complete the project
on behalf of the City of Paris.
