WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris
recognizes the future need to expand the Public Works shop
and storage area and the advantage to procuring access to
Center Street; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. R. L. Moore has agreed to offer a Contract
of Sale and Purchase in the form attached hereto as Exhibit
A, which would satisfy such needs; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That Joe Graham, Mayor, be, and is hereby authorized
to accept on behalf of the City of Paris, the offer of R. L.
Moore in the form of the Contract of Sale and Purchase
attached hereto as Exhibit A when the same is presented by
the said R. L. Moore or his attorney; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris. Joe Graham, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, a
Contract of Sale and Purchase upon the terms and conditions
and in the form shown on Exhibit A attached hereto with
R. L. Moore.
Passed and adopted this 21st day of January, 1985.
