1985-021-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at its regular meeting on January 14, 1985, approve
RESOLUTION NO. 85~02l
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at
its regular meeting on January 14, 1985, approve the adver-
tisement for bids for furnishing all plant, labor, material
and equipment and performing all work required for the
construction of all drywall partitions; interior doors and
frames, including finish hardware; interior glass and
glazing, including fixed glass frames for the City Hall
Annex project, entitled Interior Construction Work, which
bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A.M., Tuesday,
February 26, 1985; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction was made by
Hilliard and Sons Contractors, Inc., P. O. Box 426, Paris,
Texas 75460, and it should be awarded the bid for such
construction; and,
WHEREAS, the form of contract for such construction
project is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form
should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the Bid of Hilliard and Sons Contractors, Inc.,
in the amount of $19,649.00, is hereby accepted and let;
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris, Joe Graham, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the
contract for Interior Construction Work, City Hall Annex
project, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown
in Exhibit A attached hereto, with Hilliard and Sons
Contractors, Inc.

Based upon Applicacions for payment submitted to the Architect by
the Contractor and Certificates for Payment issued by the

The Summary of the Work
The General Requirements
The Insurance Requirements
Any Addenda issued prior to bidding
Any Change Orders issued after execution of this Agreement
This Agreement
These form the Contract and all are as fully a part of che
Concract as if attached to this Agreement or repeated herein.
ARTICLE VI: TIME OF COMMENCEMENT AND COMPLETIQH
The Work to be performed under this Contract shall be commenced
upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed and completed in a prompc and
expeditious manner.
THE CONTRACTOR AND THE OWNER for themselves, their successors,
executors, administrators, and assigns hereby agree to the full
performance of the covenants herein contained.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF they have executed chis Agreement the day and
year first written above.
