SUBJECT: 2022 ANNUAL GROUNDS MAINTENANCE BID
DATE: May 9, 2022
BACKGROUND: The City of Paris Public Works Department has sent out a request for bids for
grounds maintenance. This is contracted mowing of City Parks. The bid tabulation sheet is attached
for details of the bids.
STATUS OF ISSUE: The City received one sealed bid for grounds maintenance and would like
to award the bid accordingly. While not all parks received a bid, we added 13 acres and fine tuning
requirements, edging and weedeating specifically, to the contract, which will provide some time
savings for staff. The contract period is May 9, 2022 through December 31, 2022.
BUDGET: Funding is budgeted in the various Public Works Departments, primarily the Parks
Department.
RECOMMENDATION: Award bid to Green's Lawn Service as indicated on the attached bid
tabs, in the approximate amount of $94,565.00.
