MINUTES
1. Secretary Shelby Gilliam called meeting to order at 4:32 pm.
2. Citizen forum
a. Mayor Portugal: Wine fest was wonderful, congrats to all who were involved!
3. Election of Officers:
a. Chair: Greg Kee nominated by Glee Emmitte, seconded by Tyrone Hayden
b. Vice Chair: Glee Emmitte, nominated by Tyrone Hayden, seconded by Shelby Gilliam
4. The board reviewed and approved the minutes of the March 2022 meeting.
a. Motion to approve was made by Greg Kee, seconded by Tyrone Hayden.
5. Coordinators Report
a. Review Work Plan
i. Volunteers:
1. Glee Emmitte- Downtown Lighting & Business Guide
2. Greg Kee- Business Guide & Planters (Maybe)
3. William Walker- Art District
4. All Together: Support Toole Plan
b. Farmers Market -
i. We have a social media liaison, 22 Vendors, Opening day May 7, recently had very
successful cottage food class.
c. Texas Downtown Association Presidents Awards
i. Discussed potential nominations for the Presidents Awards. Only 1 month until crunch
time!
d. Texas Main Street online resource library
e. Wine Fest numbers coming soon! We expect —404 including volunteers
f. Other
6. Board Reports
a. Main Street Members
i. There will soon be two vacancies on our Main Street Board.
ii. Last weekend was a wonderful time to be downtown, Wine Fest, Prom & Steak Wars!
iii. 1 st Street Band Blockoff was Very cool!
iv. Date for next Wine Fest next year... will fall on Easter if we do same weekend.

i. Transforming strategies for the Brochure, behind this 100%
ii. Lighting project Committee went to city council and stirring great interest
iii. Cinco De Mayo- Event April 30th Margarita Crawl, Proceeds to lighting fund

d. HPC
i. Facade Grant to 27 Clarksville.
ii. COA for Remember When Building
iii. 7 South Plaza (Kay's Alterations)
1. Tabled until there are two COA's.
iv. Proposal to City Council for Vacant Property Registry for Church Street
v. Proposal for Registry for Rental Properties
