WHEREAS,
Texas, H. C.
proper that a
the City Clerk of the City of Paris, Paris,
Greene, has retired and it is fitting and
City Clerk be appointed to act; and,
WHEREAS, Mattie Cunningham is qualified and is an
appropriate person to be so appointed; and,
WHEREAS, Zoe Hazlewood and Barbara Denny are qualified
and appropriate persons to be appointed Assistant City
Clerk's, each with power to act in the capacity of City
Clerk in the absence of Mattie Cunningham; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
PARIS, That Mattie Cunningham be, and
appointed City Clerk of the City of Paris.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Zoe Hazlewood and Barbara
Denny be, and they are hereby appointed Assistant City
Clerk's, to act in the stead of Mattie Cunningham when she
is occupied with other duties, absent from the City or
incapable of acting as City Clerk.
