1985-093-RES WHEREAS, the City of Paris is eligible to make application for a Library Services and Construction Act,

WHEREAS, the City of Paris is eligible to make applica-
tion for a Library Services and Construction Act, Title II,
construction grant for improvements to the Paris Public
Library; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has numerous capital im-
provement projects for which local funds have not been
available; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That an application be made for funds for
LSCA Title II construction grant for Library
improvements in the amount of $100,000.00.
2. That, David H. Doty, City Manager, be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to execute
and deliver on behalf of the City of Paris
the necessary applications, communications,
instruments, assurances and documents neces-
sary for the completion of said project.
3. That Dick Boots, Director of Facilities, be,
and he is hereby appointed Project Director
for the LSCA Title II grant project.
