WHEREAS, the City of Paris did heretofore convey two
tracts of property by deed dated the 21st day of September,
1966 recorded Book 449, Page 176 to Weiler Investment
Company in exchange for property conveyed to City of Paris
for the Pine Bluff/Graham Streets connection projects; and,
WHEREAS, the description in said deed has conflicting
information as to the beginning point of the two tracts the
controlling reference to other tracts is correct; however,
to avoid confusion in the future it is desirable that a
correction deed be issued eliminating the conflict in the
descriptions; and,
WHEREAS, the correction deed should be in the form of
Exhibit A attached hereto; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher,
Jr., be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute
on behalf of the City Council of the City of Paris the
correction deed attached hereto as Exhibit A correcting
conflicts in descriptions included in deed dated September
21, 1966 from the City of Paris to Weiler Investment
Company.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That City of Paris, a municipal corporation, acting by
and through it's Mayor, George Fisher, Jr" of the County of
Lamar, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum
of Ten and No/lOO Dollars ($10.00) cash and other good and
valuable consideration, in cash, to it in hand paid by
Weiler Inves tment Company, the receipt and sufficiency of
which is hereby acknowledged, and the further consideration
of certain exchanges of property conveyed on September 21,
1966 by Weiler Investment Company, to the City of Paris, a
municipal corporation; that the exchange of the property
herein and the property conveyed on September 21, 1966 by
Weiler Investment Company, to the City of Paris are based
upon a square foot value of 55e per square foot;
have Granted, Sold and Conveyed, and by these presents do
Grant, Sell and Convey unto the said Weiler Investment
Company, a corporation, of the County of Lamar, State of
Texas all that certain tract or parcel of land situated in
Lamar County, Texas, and described as follows:
FIRST TRACT: Being a part of Block 42, City of
Paris Tax Map, acquired from Jack C. Armstrong and
wife, Wilma Armstrong, by the city of Paris;
BEGINNING at a bois d'arc post which is the
South West Corner of Jack C. Armstrong, et ux
tract conveyed to the City of Paris in Volume 448,
Page 25, Lamar County Deed Records;
THENCE North along the West boundary line of

in the East boundary of said Armstrong tract and
in the West boundary line of Lot 2, Block 42;
THENCE South along the East boundary line of
said Armstrong tract a distance of 80,6 feet;
THENCE West along the South boundary line of
said Armstrong tract a distance of 74,5 feet to
the place of beginning and containing 4,440 square
feet.
SECOND TRACT:
Being a part of Block 42, City of Paris Tax
Map, acquired from A. F. Bryan, et ux by the City
of Paris;
BEGINNING at a bois d'arc post at the South-
east corner of the tract conveyed by A. F. Bryan,
et ux, to the City of Paris, in Volume 447, Page
446, Lamar County Deed Records;
THENCE in a Northerly direction along the
East boundary line of said Bryan tract a distance
of 38.6 feet to an iron pin in the South right of
way line of Pine Bluff-Graham Street opening along
a 12 degree 54 minute curve to the right, a
distance of 40.8 feet to an iron pin in said South
right of way line and the West boundary line of
said Bryan tract;
THENCE South along the West boundary line of
said Bryan tract a distance of 21 feet to an iron
pin for a corner;
THENCE East along the South boundary line of
said Bryan tract a distance of 33.5 feet to the
place of beginning and containing 1,027 square
feet.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises,
together with all and singular, the rights and appurte-
nances thereto in anywise belonging unto the said
Weiler Investment Company, its successors and assigns
forever; and it does hereby bind itself, its successors
and assigns to Warrant and Forever Defend all and
singular the said premises unto the said Weiler Invest-
ment Company, its successors and assigns, against every
person whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the
same, or any part thereof.
