WHEREAS, Dr. Alice Cox has resigned as co-medical
director of the Emergency Medical Service of the City of
Paris, and it is necessary to appoint her successor, and the
Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, Jr., having
appointed Dr. Bert Strom to replace Dr. Alice Cox,
and has submitted the name of such person to the City
Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS: That the appointment of Dr. Bert Strom
as co-medical director for the Emergency Medical Service of
the City of Paris to replace Dr. Alice Cox, is by the City
Council of the City of Paris hereby approved and confirmed
and he is impowered to perform the duties and obligations
enumerated in the Emergency Medical Service Act.
