1984-010-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is desirous of removing roosting habitat from location

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is
desirous of removing roosting habitat from location within
the City Limits of the City of Paris is order to remove the
possible health hazard being created by such roost; and,
WHEREAS, the Chief, Paris Fire Department has been
given the task of overseeing the removal of such health
hazards and he should be authorized to take all steps
necessary to accomplish that purpose; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, as follows:
1. That the Chief, Paris Fire Department, be and he
is directed to oversee the removal of roosting habitat from
locations within the City of Paris in order to remove health
hazards created by birds using such habitat.
2. That Steve Burgin, Chief, Paris Fire Department,
be and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute and
deliver upon behalf of the City of Paris the necessary
applications, communications, instruments, assurances,
releases, and documents necessary for completion of the
habitat removal project.
3. That Steve Burgin, Chief, Paris, Fire Department,
is granted continuing full authority to deal with this
problem as it re-occurs or until further order of the City
Council.
