1984-028-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been made aware of the fact that a Specific Use
RESOLUTION NO. 84-028
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been
made aware of the fact that a Specific Use Permit was
impressed upon property on the south side of Center Street
appearing on the tax rolls of the City of Paris in the name
of General Meat Company. This Specific Use Permit is for
a rendering plant and is on Lots 12 and 13, Block 1, Smith's
Second Addition and Lot 17, City Block 251 A; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the
citizens of Paris that such Specific Use Zoning classifica-
tion be reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission of
the City of Paris and in the event that the same should be
changed or deleted that such recommendation should be made
to the City Council for final action; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a public hearing
be set concerning the same for 5:15 o'clock P.M., in the
City Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 7th day
of June, 1984.; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the matter of appropriate zoning on Lots 12 and
13, Block 1, Smith's Second Addition and Lot 17, City Block
251 A be, and the same is hereby referred to the Planning
and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for its recom-
mendation concerning the proper zoning of the same; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held
before the Planning and Zoning Commission concerning said
property at 7: 00 0 I clock P. M., in the City Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 4th day of June, 1984.
