1984-019 - Expanded supplement no. 3 to Resolution 2167RESOLUTION NO. 84 -019 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution No. 2167, establish the necessity for the City Engineer to procure services of professional engineering from CRS Group Engineers, Inc. and authorize execution of contract and Supplement No. 1 and did in Resolution No. 2217 authorize Supplement No. 2 with said CRS Group Engineers, Inc.; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Paris that the scope of said contract be expanded as stated in Supplement No. 3 attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City Council of the City of Paris, the Supplement No. 3 to professional services contract in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A. K. aynes, ity ttorney EXHIBIT A SUPPLEMENT N0. 3 This Supplement to the Agreement for Professional Services dated May 7, 1982, between the City of Paris, Texas, and CRS Group Engineers, Inc., hereby authorizes CRS SIRRINE, INC. (successor to CRS Group Engineers, Inc.) to perform the work described for the payment stated below. Scope of Work The scope of work under this supplement includes the following: 1. Design and preparation of plans and specifications for a sewage pumping station of 8.5 million gallons per day peak capacity and a flow metering and control system. The pumping station, metering station and control system will pump sewage from the sewage plant interceptor system into a city designed equalization basin during periods of high flow; and allow for controlled gravity flow back into the interceptor from the equalization basin during periods of low flow. The above scope of work is further defined as including Article II, paragraphs. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Agreement. The City of Paris will furnish CRSS with necessary site surveying information, a soils report specific to conditions at the pumping station site, and information as to location, elevation, and design for the equalization basin to enable the design. Remuneration The City of Paris shall compensate CRS SIRRINE for providing the services in the scope of work in accordance with Article III, paragraphs 4.a.(3.) salary cost times a multiplier. The fee factor for this project shall be 2.76 times direct salary cost. Expenses shall be billed at cost including mileage on personal auto use of 10.205Imile. The total cost including expenses shall not exceed $45,000 unless further authorization is obtained from the City.
