WHEREAS, certain expense and capital outlay accounts
have experienced unexpected expenditures in excess of budget
appropriations in the 1983 -84 fiscal year as follows:
GENERAL FUND
GENERAL GOVERNMENT
Administrative $ 2,000.00
City Attorney 8,500.00
Judicial 7,000.00
PUBLIC SAFETY
Fire $ 30,000.00
PUBLIC WORKS
Public Works $ 1,500.00
Total
$ 49,000.00
AND, WHEREAS, the following account in the amount shown
therein as follows:
GENERAL FUND
CONTINGENT APPROPRIATION $ 49,000.00
is unincumbered; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that to the extent of the above stated Contingent
Appropriation Funds, being in the amount of $49,000.00, an
emergency is hereby found to exist and declared; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that The Director of Finance,
H. C. Greene, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed
to transfer from the following account the amount shown
therein:
GENERAL FUND
CONTINGENT APPROPRIATION $ 49,000.00
being the total sum of $49,000.00, to be credited to the
following accounts:
GENERAL GOVERNMENT
