SUBJECT: Pridemore Construction Agreement for the southern boat ramp construction
at Lake Crook

BACKGROUND: On October 24, 2022, the City Council approved the awarding of the bid for
the construction of the southern boat ramp at Lake Crook submitted by Pridemore Construction
for $88,490.
STATUS OF ISSUE: Staff has drafted an agreement between the City and Pridemore
Construction that details the scope of work along with other key factors to be signed by both
parties before the project begins.
BUDGET: The bid from Pridemore and the agreement detailing the completion of this project
is $88,490. This project is eligible for funding from the Hotel Occupancy Tax. The City will be
responsible for 80%, $70,792.00, of this project and the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce
will be responsible for 20%, $17,698.00.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the authorization of the agreement with Pridemore
Construction for the construction of the southern boat ramp at Lake Crook.
