1984-078 - Property condemned for utility easement purposesRESOLUTION N0. 84 -078
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Paris is in
receipt of the engineering plans and specifications and
estimates entitled Relocation of Utilities in connection
with the street and intersection improvements in the 10
Block of 19th N.W. at its intersection with Bonham Street
and the same should be approved; and,
WHEREAS, the above described project requires the
procurement of additional utility easements from adjacent
property owners as follows: Naomi Veien, Southland Corpo-
ration and Frank N. Walker, Jr. Said three tracts being
described in utility easements attached hereto as Exhibit A,
B and C, respectively; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That relocation of utilities in connection with the
street and intersection improvements in the 10 Block of 19th
Street N.W. at its intersection with Bonham Street be and
the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the form of the utility
easements attached as Exhibits A, B and C, be approved and
that the donation evidenced by each be and they are hereby
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, That the City Attorney of the City of Paris, T. K.
Haynes, is hereby authorized and directed to proceed to
condemn the above described property to be used for utility
easement purposes, in the event that said property is not
donated.
