1984-086 - Mid South Investment Company, Inc trade of landRESOLUTION NO. 84 -085
WHEREAS, Mid South Investment Company, Inc., has
requested the City of Paris to consider trading a 25 foot
strip of property, which provides access to the old city
well property in Southeast Paris, for an 80 foot strip of
land, which runs from the South boundary line of Clarksville
Street South to the railroad right -of -way along Big Sandy
Creek Tributary No. 3 outlined in red on Exhibit A, and a
right of use easement along the service and delivery
driveway outlined in red on Exhibit B attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the
citizens of Paris to make such trade; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, be,
and is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the City of Paris, instruments of conveyance of the old
access way from Clarksville Street South to the railroad
right -of -way to Mid South Investment Company, Inc., or its
assignee; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the conveyance of an 80
foot strip as described on Exhibit A attached hereto and the
easement shown on Exhibit B attached hereto are hereby
accepted.
