44 properties were identified as Vacant Buildings:
3 of those properties were brought into registration compliance
15 of those properties were pending receipt for registration
26 of those properties had not responded to initial notices

32 of the 44 properties have come into compliance.
12 properties had not responded to initial notices or courtesy phone calls:
Violation notices were sent to the owners of the 12 properties (6 of the
12 properties are owned by 2 individuals)
• Of the 12 violation notices that were sent, 3 owners who represent 5
of the 12 non-compliant properties have responded and are working
towards compliance
5 owners who represent the other 7 of the 12 non-compliant properties
have not responded to the violation notices
September, 2022:
Any non-compliant owners who have not responded to the violation notices, or are
not working with the Community Development Department towards coming into
compliance, will be subject to a complaint filed in Municipal Court.
November, 2022:
Complaints were filed in Municipal Court against four properties that have not
come into compliance. Of the four non-compliant properties, three belong to the
