BACKGROUND: This is the annual bid for roadway materials to be used by the Street, Water
Distribution, Sewer Maintenance, and Parks Divisions. There were no bids submitted with the
initial street materials on March 7tH
Notice to Bidders for Re -bid Portland Cement Concrete "Class A" (5 sack); Portland Cement
Concrete "Class C" (6 sack); Portland Cement Grout 5 sack; Portland Cement Grout 6 sack was
published in the Paris News on March 51" and March 121H
STATUS OF ISSUE: The City of Paris Public Works Department received one sealed bid for
Portland Cement Concrete on March 21, 2023, and would like to award bid to the only bidder,
Coston & Sons Ready Mix Inc. The bid tabulation sheet is attached for details of the bid and
material, with bids highlighted. The contract period is April 1, 2023 through March 31, 2024.
BUDGET: Funding is budgeted in the various Public Works Departments.
RECOMMENDATION: Award bids as indicated in attachment.
