SUBJECT: Consideration of and action on the Replat of the Fuller-Dohoney Addition Lot 2
Block A
DATE: September 13, 2023
BACKGROUND
The applicant requests approval of a replat for the Fuller-Dohoney Addition Lot 2 Block A in order
to establish a building site for a residence.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the replat subject to the following conditions:
1. The name of the proposed subdivision and adjacent subdivision. Chapter 9A, V. Final
Plat, (3)
a. The original plat being amended is spelled "Fuller-Dohoney" despite misspellings
on the deed and subsequent Replats. This shall be corrected.
2. The location, size and approximate depth of all existing utilities shall be shown. Chapter
9A, IV. Preliminary Plat, (7)
a. While utility locations are not required on Final Plats or Replats, any utility
locations on official submissions shall be acquired through 811 requests. For this
plat they may be removed all together.
3. The following notice shall be placed on the face of each preliminary plat by the
subdivider, "Preliminary Plat for Inspection Purpose Only." Chapter 9A, IV. Preliminary
Plat, (13)
a. Replats are treated as final plats and do not require a preliminary step. The note
"Preliminary Plat for Inspection Purpose Only" shall be removed.
