SUBJECT: WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT PROJECT PRESENTATION

BACKGROUND:
Thalle Construction Company, the general contractor for the wastewater treatment plant project,
was issued a notice to proceed for Phase 1 construction on January 11, 2023. Construction is
ongoing, substantial completion of Phase 1 is scheduled for December 2024. For funding
purposes, the comprehensive construction project was divided into two (2) phases, with an
explanation to City Council the project would not be complete without completion of both Phases
1 and 2.
STATUS OF ISSUE:
Garver has completed design of Phase 2, accomplished by monthly planning workshops and
coordination meetings between City staff and the Garver design team. Garver will present an
update on the progress of Phase 1 construction, information on Phase 2 design and plans for
construction, and the next steps forward for the wastewater treatment plant project.
