REGULAR MONTHLY BOARD MEETING at 12,*30P.M. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at

1. Call meeting to order, Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners,
called the meeting to order at 12:38 p.m.
2. Quorum and members verified by Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman.

item was made by Board Member Steve Smi"th and seconded by Board Member Derrick
Henry. Motion carried, 5 ayes - 0 nays.
S. Unfinished business to discuss., A. Waiver of PILOT
A. Motion was made to Table the Waiver of Pilot until the next regular meeting of the
Board of Commissioners by Board Member Beverly Johnson and seconded by Board

6. New Business;
A. Ms. Brooks presented Directors Report to tl�e Board of Commissioners
1. Occupancy Report. demographic, waiting list, and vacancy information on Public
Housi*ng and Section 8 Vouchers. 6 vacancies in Public Housing and 289 vouchers
utilized with 10 open offers a -s of December 19, 2023,
2-e Financial Inforniation was giventotheloard of Commissioners.
3. Discussed the ongoing residents/guests issues at Booker T Washington.
4. Discussed Fair Housing complaint determination received from HUD — no reasonable
cause was exists for the complaint and complaint was dismissed,,
5. Meeting with Lawyers: Summer Greathouse, Harry Olinger and At][ins Roberts to
discuss the Memorandum of Understanding proposed to the Paris Housing Authority

by the Javelin Group and Rea Ventures Group for partnership on the Celebration
Paris Proj*ect,,
6., Discussion of the MOU - A Motion was made to move forward by signing in
agreement with the proposed MOU. This motion was made by Board Member
Derri"ck Henry and seconded by Board Mbamer Steve Smith. M otion carried, 5 ayes
— 0 nays.
7. RESOLUTIONS:
RESCIND 2023twOO8 A&O POLICY
RESCIND 2023-009 ADMMSTRATIVE POLICY
RESCIND 2023-010 PUBLIC HOUSING LEASE
A Motion was made by Board Member TK Haynes and seconded by Board Member
Steve Smith to Rescind Resolutions 2023-008, 2023-009, & 2023-0 10. Resolutions had
to be resci*nded due to HUD chinging the compliance date of HOTMA. Motion carried, 5
ayes — 0 nays.
2023-O 11 PUBLIC HOUSING LEASE
A Motion was made by Board Member Steve Smi'th and seconded by Board Member
Derrl'ck H1'11 to approved changes to the Public Housing Lease. Mticfi:uoon ried, Sayes — 0
nays.
