The Paris -Lamar County Board of Health held a regular session on

Dr. Putnam called the meeting to order in open session at 5:30 p.m.
Susan Davis made a motion and was seconded by Dr. Myers Hurt III into open
session. Motion carried. 5 yays, 0 nays.
Susan Davis made a motion and was seconded by Dr. Myers Hurt III to approve
prior meetings minutes. Motion carried. 5 yays, 0 nays.
Ms. Susan Bellene reviewed and approved the First Federal bank statements
ending in:
• September 2023
• October 2023
Ms. Mitzie Pirtle will review at the next board meeting.
Ms. Cheryl King advised the board that Special Health Resources will start coming
to the Health District once a month and screen patients for HIV Testing.

Ms. King advised the board that our current infectious disease coordinator has
resigned and Mrs. Gina Prestridge has hired Alison Thrasher to take over that
position. Ms. Thrasher will begin working on December 4, 2023.
Ms. Susan Davis made the motion and was seconded by Dr. Myers Hurt III to
authorize Ms. Gina Prestridge, Executive Director of the Paris -Lamar County
Health District, to open a Certificate of Deposit with First Federal Community
Bank of Paris in the amount of $200,000. For 9 months at the current interest rate
of 5.15% (see attached signed letter).
Dr. Walker Putnam signed the Family Clinical Services Extranet and Data Upload
Security Agreement between Texas Health and Human Services Commission
(HHSC) Network and the Paris -Lamar County Health District.
Dr. Walker Putnam signed the Public Information Request form for McDonalds
and Load Trails.
Ms. Cheryl King advised that the Paris -Lamar County Health District total liabilities
and equity is approximately $3,000,000.
Next quarterly meeting will be either
TUESDAY, January 16 or TUESDAY, February 20 or MONDAY, March 18, 2024

meeting to be adjourned at 5:39 p.m. Motion carried. 5 yays, 0 nays.

At the February 20th, 2024, Board of Health Meeting, Susan Davis made the motion and was seconded by
Susan Bellene for the PLCHD board approved November 20th, 2023 minutes to be submitted to
the City Clerk in the City Hall Annex, located at 150 S.E. 1St Street, Paris, Texas, for filing.
Motion carried 5 yays and 0 nays.
