SUBJECT: CHANGES FOR MEETING DATES IN MAY
DATE: April 22, 2024
BACKGROUND: City Council meetings are scheduled for the second and fourth Mondays of
each month.
STATUS OF ISSUE: May 27, 2024 is the second scheduled City Council meeting, which is
Memorial Day and a holiday.
The Planning & Zoning items are normally scheduled for the second City Council meeting of the
month. During scheduling for the month of May, City Staff planned in advanced and will publish
notice of hearings for the May 13 City Council meeting
BUDGET: N/A
RECOMMENDATION: Option 1: Cancel the May 27, 2024 City Council meeting.
Option 1: Cancel the May 27, 2024 City Council meeting
Option 2: Reschedule the May 27, 2024 meeting to another date in May between May 20 and May
31.
