The Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas, Board of Commissioners met for a SPECIAL BOARD
MEETING at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas,
650 7th S.W. -Office, Conference Room, Paris, Texas 75460.
Present: Board Members:
Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman
Steve Smith
Beverly Johnson
Derrick Hill
City Representative:
None
Interim Executive Director:
Allan Hubbard
Absent: T.K. Havnes
1. Call meeting to Order, Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, at 9:00
a.m.
2. Quorum and members verified by Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners.
3. Citizen's Forum.* None present to speak.
4. Approval of Minutes from the May 14, 2024 regular meeting.
A Motion to approve this item was made by Board Member Steve Smith and seconded by Board
Member Derrick Hill. Motion carried, 4 ayes - 0 nays.
Unfinished Business:
To be addressed at the next Regular Board Meeting.
5. New Business:
• EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman, closed the Open Session at 9:04 a.m. The Board of

Commissioners convened in Executive Session, pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas
Government Code to discuss applicants and possible hiring of an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.

The Board of Commissioners reconvened in Open Session at 11:33 a.m. Jenny Wilson, Vice
Chairman, stated NO ACTION taken during Executive Session.
• There being no further business, a Motion to adjourn was made by Board Member Steve Smith
and seconded by Board Member Derrick Hill. Motion carried 4 ayes - 0 nays. Jenny Wilson, Vice
Chairman adjourned the Meeting at 11:49 a.m.
