AGENDA
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Citizens' input.
(Persons desiring to address the Board must limit their presentation to no more than two minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda,
the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Board from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to
an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the City, Council Members, Directors, or
employees, as well as individual personal appeals are not appropriate for citizens' forum.)
If necessary, the Board of Directors may convene into Executive Session under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code regarding
any item on this agenda.
3. Approve minutes from the meeting on June 13, 2024.
4. Discuss and possibly take action on a recommendation to City Council on one or both of the following:
A. Increase the number of members on the TIRZ Board of Directors from five (5) to seven (7).
B. Remove the requirement that 2 seats on the Board of Directors be filled by City employees.
5. Receive update from and provide direction to staff regarding authorizing the retention of a consultant to
assist the Board with strategies for reviewing and possibly amending the Project and Financing Plans for
TIRZ No. 1.
6. Request future agenda items.
7. Adjournment.
